This project involved the construction of a new community hall adjacent to Council’s Heritage-listed asset. The 1200-square metre hall of exposed structural steel framing and pre-cast panels includes a specialist glass facade with electrically controlled louvres, polished hardwood timber floor, office and function space, commercial kitchen ans other amenities. A 500-square metre courtyard incorporates disabled access and a new lift permits access to the upper floor of the adjacent Heritage building. Our client’s feedback acknowledged the fact we encountered very challenging latent site conditions and praised our on-time, to-budget delivery as well as our approach to safety, our personnel and the quality of our work.
