This project involved internal and external stabilisation and modification works to resolve structural and safety issues. Work included a new timber floor section, replacement of ceilings, replacement of floor-to-ceiling windows with heat-reduction laminated glass and new frames, leveling and re-tiling of the balcony, new floor coverings, and replacements and adjustments to sliding doors. Our carpenters and other specialist trades worked rolling 24 hour shifts in a very tight time-frame in order to deliver work ahead of the venue’s planned reopening for a wedding scheduled months prior to the structural issues surfacing; we were also able to mobilise and order special materials with a 5-week lead-time.
