Bankstown Station Parcels Office – awning and slab removal

Location:

Bankstown Station
Client:
Sydney Trains
Duration:
1 possession weekend

The 1915 Heritage-listed Bankstown Station Parcels Office is a fine example of the Railway Stripped Functionalist Style of transport architecture popular around the Sydney network during the first half of the twentieth century. Our project involved the removal of non-sympathetic later additions to the original structure. The work was completed within a single possession weekend in May 2016.
